Café Spice founders Sushil Malhotra, Sameer Malhotra, and Rajesh Bhardwaj are visionaries who are dedicated to continually creating and implementing new ideas and ways to expand the reach of Indian food to more consumers.  From bistro to big business, Café Spice has expanded throughout the east coast with a commanding presence in the food service industry. Navjot Arora

Navjot Arora, chef and co-owner, is a culinary school graduate from the prestigious IHM New Delhi. His training led him to work for the prestigious Taj Group of Hotels in India where he honed his skills under master chefs. His vast experience and passion for Indian food brought him to New York , where he headed the kitchen at the critically acclaimed Café Spice Restaurant Group. With the help of his former employer, Sushil Malhotra, Navjot's dream of having his own restaurant was realized in the form of Chutney Masala. He is ably supported by a team of highly skilled food professionals that are the best in the industry. Navjot Arora delivers the authentic, traditional seasonal Indian cuisine and impeccable service that originally earned him his reputation. His unique combination of restaurant, catering and special event experience provides our clients with unparalleled expertise, innovation and professionalism.

Hari Nayak

Overseeing menu design is Partner and Chief Culinary Director Hari Nayak, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America has led the creativity at café spice group. His award winning style is reflected in the wide range of menus and presentations at our events. Chef Hari has pioneered the next generation of Indian Cooking with his cookbook "Modern Indian Cooking". Hari believes in creating classic Indian dishes by using simplistic techniques along with a delicious juxtaposition of global flavors.

Alok Kumar

As our director of event planning and operations, Ex Air India chief purser and hospitality industry veteran he has been involved in many community related activities. He has combined his flair for entertaining and his love for good food to become a successful event planner and can help you put together your dream wedding or event . Alok lives in New Jersey . Entertaining and being socially active is in his blood.
